Trophy Hunts

Our hunts for trophy bison start in September until late January. We go after mature herd bulls, 7 to 15 years of age and the weight will be in the 2000 pound range. Most of them will make the SCI record book.

Recommended are the use of large caliber rifles like 300 magnums, 375 H&H or larger. Those bison are massive and can take a lot of lead.

Included with the hunt:

Fully Guided hunt, Bison of your choice, the head and hide, all the meat, 2 to 3 days of hunting, 2 night stay at the Tatonka Flats hunting cabin, transport from Edmonton to the hunting area and return, all meals and beverages during the hunt, skinning and field dressing of cape and transport to Edmonton.

Not included:

Preparation of cape and skull for Export ($450,--), or Taxidermy work, meat processing, Gun rental, tips to guides, shipping, hotels and expenses before or after the hunt.
